This dwarf variety differs from its non-dwarf relative by staying more compact and having a shorter mature height at 3ft. It also has noticeably more narrow blades. Fakahatchee grass is the larval food plant for the Byssus Skipper Butterfly. Also known as Gamagrass and used often in buffer areas.
